For More than 40 years Way Hoyt has been involved in the Tree Care business....During that time, he has come across some very unique and beautiful trees! A few of those trees needed to be legally removed. We saved the very best, and milled them for use in making incredible furniture and craft items.
Way Hoyt is a Consulting Arborist, and may be able to help you obtain required permits to remove trees.

All our impressive wood is environmentally sustainable & harvested locally in South Florida. Our logs are always permitted and legally removed- we never disturb any trees unless they absolutely must come down. Trees may need to be removed for a variety of reasons including disease, destruction of sidewalks, or new construction. Essentially, no innocent trees are ever harmed in the milling of our lumber.

LIVE EDGE & DIMENSIONAL LUMBER
We offer a wide variety of wood styles from live edge to dimensional lumber. Live edge wood slabs have an unfinished edge & are milled to accentuate their natural curvature, showcasing the unique characteristics of the original tree. Unlike live edge pieces which are selected for their natural defects, dimensional lumber is favored for its consistency- each piece is milled to a standard size & smoothed.

VARIETY OF TROPICAL HARDWOOD
Since our wood is locally sourced, we carry several species exclusive to Florida. Many of our pieces have a rich history! Our inventory includes several pieces sourced all the way back to hurricane Andrew in 1992, as well as many other storms that have affected our state. These rare pieces can become a unique conversation & a beautiful centerpiece for any furniture construction. If you’re local, we also offer custom milling.
